Translated, Dansko literally means, Danish shoe - to anyone that stands on their feet all day, Dansko means a whole lot more than that.

Dansko means comfort and support all day.  Every day.

If you have a pair of Danskos you probably remember that moment when you noticed something was different, things were clicking. You felt better. Healthier.

Onlineshoes.com asked all of you exactly “How do you Dansko?” After gathering all of your submissions we have randomly selected two lucky winners to receive a pair of Limited Edition Dansko Professionals valued at $120.

Our contest winners will certainly agree that Dansko means the most comfortable way to get through their day. Just take a look at how they Dansko!

I am a podiatrist. I live in my Danskos. I began wearing them only at the office and for surgery cases but now cannot go without them at home. They are by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. Patients constantly ask me, “What shoe is good for me?". My number one answer is,” Do your feet a favor and get a pair of Danskos (I point down at my feet)." I love my blue and black lace-up Danskos. They are sturdy, funky and give me great support. They look great with jeans on the weekend but I even wear them to work.
I have been wearing Danskos almost exclusively for the last 5 years. They are my favorite shoe regardless of season or occasion.

I dansko running after three kids, exploring parks, beaches, mountains, mud puddles, and have 15 hour day work days on my feet. Dansko - come to me!
I wore my Danskos walking all over London and Paris- had a great time and never had to worry about my feet! Love love love them. Now I want a bigger pair to accommodate handknit socks!
I Dansko at our hometown bakery were I am on my feet hours and hours per day cranking out the lattes, cappuccino's, or breves. When I have a foam explosion, alway on my shoes, A quick swipe of the rag brings them back to life. I plan to Dansko in white when I finish nursing school!

I must say I haven't yet Dansko. I'm a potter and work all day on a concrete floor. I need a pair!
I Dankso almost every day. I have 4 pairs of the professionals and I love how they make me tall without discomfort, the klump klump noise they make as I walk and how in the winter I can fit my skinny feet and my handknit wool socks inside. Thanks Dansko.

I can tell you that Danskos are the most comfortable shoes I own, and I live in them. They are good looking and of excellent quality. After 4 surgeries on my left foot, and subsequent lower back problems from walking lopsided, they are the only shoes I can wear without pain! I own several pair: I wear them to church and everywhere. I can't imagine life without their comfort. I love them! Renee

Dansko shoes are the perfect stylish shoe for this busy mom on-the-go. After spending a couple of hours on my feet volunteering at my child's school, my feet are neither tired nor sore. Even better is they look great with a pair of my hand-knit socks.
I was introduced to Dansko professionals ten years ago, and now I wear them all the time. Although I'm a Registered Nurse, I do professional window cleaning, and my Dansko shoes have saved my feet many times both inside and outdoors. At the end of the day, I'm able to change into my dance shoes, and teach Argentine tango and dance for several hours more. So literally, I'm on my (over 6o year-old-feet) all day and into the evening, with pleasure, which I could not do before I discovered Dansko shoes. I have even danced IN my professionals, when I forgot my dance shoes.
I bought my first pair of Dansko clogs just a few weeks after I started working at a hospital. I noticed that Danskos were totally universal - men and women wear them, with jeans and with business suits and with skirts. It seems that you cannot go wrong - no matter the gender, the position, or the attire, if you work at the hospital, you can wear Danskos!

I Dansko at work, at school, at play. I Dansko best when I travel ~ I'll be Dansko-ing around India next month and I'm totally looking for new Danskos to get me through and keep me going for my blog reports.
Love my Danskos. Nothing makes my feet feel more comfortable and I can wear them to work or even with a pair of jeans when I go out. They're attractive and comfortable. My Danskos took me all over Vegas last year and while my husband kept saying "let's sit down", my Danskos kept me going all over the Vegas strip.
I am a Mom to 3 young children. I am on my feet all day. I cook, I clean, I change diapers, I wash diapers, I fold laundry, I go on walks, I play at the park, I push bikes and swings and catch kids on the slide. I kiss owies, bandage hurts, wipe tears and noses. I play super heroes, tag, and in the leaves. I am on my feet. I've never owned Dansko shoes, but hear they are fantastic. From what I read, they will save my feet and back when I am doing what I do best, Mother.
I split my workdays between a pet shop and a library and, whether I'm shifting 50 pound bags of dog food or hauling heavy book carts for the day, I know I won't come home to sore back and achning feet on days that I Dansko.
I don't Dansko yet, but I have a feeling a wee shopping spree might be in order on this lovely, crisp autumn day when the idea of being able to wear my deliciously warm hand knit socks and comfy stylish shoes sounds utterly divine!
I have yet to Dansko, but I sure want to! I've heard nothing but great things about them from friend and co-workers. They're so stylish too! I want to own a Dansko to show off my handknit socks!
I just bought my first pair of Danskos this month. I've been wearing them more than any other pair of shoes I own. I look for excuses to wear them. I want a pair in every color! I have bunions and flat feet and thought I would never find a comfortable pair of shoes...I found it! Thanks Dansko!

I've worn my one pair of Danskos so much that they're worn out--not easy to do. They take me through my teaching job and everywhere else. I'm desperate to replace them.

I Dansko'd all over London last month. I wore my Danskos every day while we walked all over the city and my feet loved me for it. Now I'm ruined for all other shoes! I just bought a new pair in black (the mary-jane style) on Sunday. I love 'em!
I don't currently Dansko except in the sense of literal translation. My mom is from Denmark & has a pair of red clogs with wooden soles that she got there 20 years ago. I "borrow" these whenever I can, but unfortunately she always catches me before they make it home with me.
I Dansko early and often! I originally bought Danskos for work (I'm a pharmacist) but find I wear them just about every day. I even have sandals! I love that they come in many colors and textures. My current favorite pair is FUSCHIA! I've turned many of my coworkers onto the brand and they now all say "Danskos ROCK!"
i love my danskos! i wear them anytime i have to be on my feet all day - which is a lot, about 6 days a week. i'm on my feet in the hospital as a registered nurse AND in clinical as a student nurse practitioner. i don't know how my feet and back would survive this torture without dansko's!
I Dansko almost every day for any reason at all - Danskos are the best shoes!
I have not had a chance to Dansko yet but I would really like to!

I Dansko right now to relieve back pain caused by my pregnant belly. Who doesn't love comfortable, healthy, slip-on shoes when you can barely see your feet. At least I know they look good.
I would Dansko everyday just by walking. I wear shoes basically for comfort and these fit the bill.
How do I Dansko? Dansko are pretty much my only shoe. My shoe that I wear for work, play and dress-up. They make my cranky feet happy and that counts for a lot!
I Dansko it and don't even know it! I slip on my Danskos on the way out the door and forget about them until I'm home again.

I wear Danskos night and day. I work shift work and am on my feet most of the time. Danskos are ultra comfortable and give my feet great support for standing strong, even when I am not so. Thank you!
I Dansko full steam ahead! At work, at school, at play. I'm going to India in January and I'll be Dansko-ing through my travels and on my blog.
I wear danskos while chasing my 3 kids, 1 dog and 4 cats.
Being in the medical field, I'm on my feet way too much. I love my Dansko clogs! I even keep an extra pair in my office for emergencies.

I learned about Dansko after a foot injury abrupty ending intense Martial Arts training. My instructor recommended I try Dansko shoes in addition to my physical therapy to speed along the process of not only getting back on my feet but staying there comfortably and steadily. Dansko has done that for me (and a big *hug* to my Physical Therapist as well!)
I first Dansko'd as a third year medical student. All of my colleagues wore them and I fell in love with the antique brown oiled professional. I wore them every time I was on call as a medical student and resident and many days in between over the past 5 years... so many that I eventually wore a hole through the shoe over my big toe. Despite the strange looks and comments, I loved my Danskos so much I kept wearing them! Finally, I caved and bought another pair so I could continue to Dansko during my continued medical training.
I danksko all summer long with my pair of Sissy's. They are so comfortable and they look great. Now, I have to dansko to look for a pair of the upcoming winter months.

I love my Danskos for work and play. They look great for a day at the office or a night on the town and they keep my feet feeling great. Also, I'm a knitter so my Dansko Marcelles are the best shoes to show off my hand knit socks.
I have a pair of red Danskos that I wear when I'm feeling "funky". My sister got them as a gift when she was in Denmark - she decided they were too big for her, so she passed them on to me. I feel almost gnome-ish when I wear them.
I love my Danskos. I wear them almost every day and they keep my feet feeling great. They're also durable, long lasting, and very well made. I'm still wearing the first pair of Professional clogs I bought 10 years ago. I even convinced my husband to start wearing Danskos. He was reluctant at first because he thought they were feminine, but now he loves his "Manskos" as much as I love my Danskos.
I love my Danskos! I wear them in the rain and my feet and shoes and pants stay dry! It's fabulous!
I once had an impromptu hiking trip in Hell's Gate, Lake Naivasha, Kenya. I thought I was just going for a game drive but when we arrived we found a great big canyon that needed exploring. I spent a few hours hiking around in my Danskos. I actually forgot my Danskos in the boot of the car and flew home to the US. Six months later I was back in Kenya and tracked down the driver of the car and got my Danskos back.

I recently had surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon. Dansko makes me forget the surgery and enjoy walking again.
I wear my Danskos everywhere! Around town on errands, to antique shows and flea markets, to my knitting get togethers, to the mountains, etc., etc. I especially like to wear them when I am watching my niece ride her horse. They keep my feet out of the dirt and sawdust and still look good afterwards. They just get better and better with age. The most comfortable shoes I own!

When Don't I Dansko? I bought my first pair of Danskos when I was pregnant with my daughter 9 years ago. I had to retire them recently, but that just gave me justification to buy the cool yarn covered professionals that act as camouflage in my knitting room! I wear the fabulous mary janes to work and a cool new pair of Madrigals to play! What more could a girl ask? Oh, dress sandals! Red. Check.
 

I dansko all the time. Summer sandals, winter clogs, and my feet and back are always happy because of it. They're the best shoes to wear with handknits socks (Mine are the stripey ones!)
 

I love my Dankso clogs - I wear them everywhere. I run errands in them, go for walks, hang out with friends, jump around the park with my three-year-old. I've even climbed a volcano in my Danskos! Hands down, these are my favorite shoes.
I Dansko by wearing them everywhere I go. They are so comfortable and feel very light on my feet.
In my Danskos, I sit and watch TV, walk to the neighborhood book club meeting, go get the mail, work at the school book fair, avoid stepping on the local lizards and skip to the golf course. Fun stuff.

I love to wear my "oh so comfortable" Dansko shoes when we take long walks on the local rail trails (hiking trails where the rail lines used to be.) My feet are so comfortable after a 3 mile walk, and I never have to worry about achy arches or blisters!
I have screws and plates in my foot due to an injury that I suffered in a car accident. I love Dansko. They are among the few brands shoes that I can tolerate wearing for long periods of time.
I am really lucky as I was given my first pair of Danskos. A friend had bought a pair online but found she had bought the wrong size, so she gave them to me. I especially love winter when I Dansko all the way to work with handknit socks to help keep my toes warm. My Danskos always keep my feet dry and comfortable.

I Dansko with my Black Lab Lucy! We talk long brisk walks at least 3 times a day and I wouldn't go outside without my Dansko's on! I have Dansko Clogs that are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and I am dying to get another style for more D & D (Dog and Dansko)! Thank you for the opportunity to enter.

My first pair of Danskos found me a year ago when a local shoe store was going out of business. Sorry for the store, but happy for me! They are so comfortable, even with my bunions. I can't wait to feel what they're like when I'm recovered from my surgeries and bunion-free!
I can tell you that Danskos are the most comfortable shoes I own I do alot of walking and its so important that my feet feel good
How do I Dansko of course makes me think of "how do I dance", and honestly I could imagine myself dancing in my Danskos much easier than in what are commonly considered dancing shoes! That's how comfortable and stable they feel -- are you getting the idea that I'm a bit of a klutz!
I have 4 pairs of Dansko sandals and 2 pair of clogs and I ADORE them all. I used to think the stapled professional clogs were terribly frumpy but now they are my favorite shoes in the world and I love wearing them with my handknit socks. I Dansko on my job. I have to travel a large territory that requires a lot of walking. I've noticed since I've started wearing Danskos my feet feel better. When I'm off work I still wear Danskos around the house, while shopping and exercising.
Love my Danskos...I wear them in the city, country, woods..in the rain, snow, cold and even in the hot weather. I had to move 100s of computers and was dreading the wear and tear on my delicate tootsies, but guess what? I felt no pain with my danskos...love love love these shoes!
I am surprised that I didn'try to bronze my first pair of Danskos when they finally became too worn to wear! They were perfect in every way and will always have a place in my heart.
I love my Dansko shoes. I am a diabetic and it is important for me to wear shoes that are sturdy and comfortable. I can stand on my feet for hours and not have any pain.
Time for some shopping -- I am down to two pair of Danskos to "Dansko" in, since my 14-year old daughter has adopted one of my well-worn pairs! She is my stylish girly-girl, too!
I wear my Dansko Professional almost everyday. They are comfortable and great for walking. I knit my own socks and Danskos were the first (and so far the only) shoe that I can wear with my handknit socks. I also wear them in the summer without socks. On a trip to DisneyWorld, I forgot my sandals and was perfectly happy walking all over the parks in my Danskos. They are aawesome and I recommend them to everyone I know.
I love my Professional Danskos for several reasons. I wear them almost every day because they are comfortable for walking. Also, I knit socks and the Dansko Professionals were the first (and so far the only) shoe that I can wear comfortably with my handknit socks. I even wear them in the summer without socks. On one vacation to DisneyWorld, I brought the wrong pair of summer shoes but I wasn't worried. I had my Danskos and wore them everyday while walking all around the parks. I can walk long distances in them without any problems. I love my Danskos!!
I have to admit I sometimes choose my Dansko's to show off handknit socks, since they show nicely from the back. That's why I'm excited about the "Mary Jane" style -- even more of my socks will show!
I'm new to the comfort of Danskos--having purchased my first pair just two weeks ago. Since I stand on my feet all day at work and run agility with my dog on the week end, I had developed plantar fasciitis. The Danskos have hardly been off my feet since!

I Dansko because a shoe should be able to form to your foot, and Dansko does. It's a lovely relationship between my feet and Dansko.
Until now I have been limiting my Dansko experience to comfort shoes, my everyday clogs have suited me just fine. Now that I see some of the new styles, it's time to "kick it up a notch" and choose some dressier Danskos!
I Dansko daily! With a plethora of professionals, plus marcelles, magretes, mollys, lydias and more - I never have to be without my favorite shoes! I'm all Dansko, all the time. I love these shoes!

I love my danskos! I dansko almost everyday to my middle school classroom. The added height is great when dealing with students who are almost as tall as I am. But the comfort is unmatchable. Thank you Dansko for all that you do for teachers. You make our lives just a little bit easier with great shoes.
I ROCK in my Dansko Marcelles in Claret Patent, a beautiful red color which seems to go with everything. Wearing them, I've heard the words "Dansko" and "sexy" in the same sentence for the first time ever! Yet Dansko is the only shoe that reliably delivers all-day comfort when I'm on my feet. I wear them everywhere and get compliments all the time -- often from complete strangers. Love them in the fun materials and funky patterns.
 

I dansko at work and play, but mostly I dansko with my two mini dachshunds who believe that whenever I slip them on it is time for a walk

I have had a pair of Dansko clogs for 5 years and they are easily the most comfortable shoes that I own (including my running sneakers). They are so perfect for working in a hospital because they are stylish and comfortable and go with everything. Needless to say I am a Dansko super fan!
I live in my Danskos! I have arthritis and wanted some stylish shoes to wear. Well I found them in Dansko clogs. They help my pain immensely. Thank you for the opportunity to finally get a second pair. I think my first pair would enjoy a break!
I'm a busy stay at home mom to four active young children and I practically live in my Dansko professional clogs. In that, I guess I Dansko everyday! I'm still recovering from a very serious back injury, and my Danskos are the only shoe that keeps my legs and lower back from aching after a busy day. Seriously, when I first purchased them, my immediate thought was: I didn't realize a woman could love a pair of shoes this much.

Can I just tell you that I love Dansko shoes. These shoes were my cure for my aching feet from managing in a factory. The concrete floor wreak havoc on the feet. But now my feet crave Dansko all the time. I Dansko here, I Dansko there, I Dansko everywhere!!!! Love these shoes.

Ok - from the moment I caught sight of my friend's periwinkle blue suede clogs when we were teenagers - I knew I was born to be a Dansko girl! And so it goes... my closet quickly became lined with numerous pairs of Professionals and Sonjas... all different colors... nubuck suede... leather... And OH, those RED ones!!! - If I had to name a favorite pair of shoes........ If it were possible to live life barefoot - that'd be me... But... flattering my feet with Dansko's is the next best thing! (The CEO of the company I work for even tossed out a comment one day when passing me in the hallway... "Boy, you sure like clogs!" he said - in a most complimentary way!) He was right - I DO! Whether at work or play, Dansko has been a part of my life for Umpteeeeeeen years! I scratch my head with wonder at how to wear out a pair of Dansko's ... mine seem to last forever! My nubuck brown Professionals (probably about 7 years old now, still look great, and have been selected as the shoes I now wear to cut the lawn - landscaping in style!)... And it is only when I want to add a new color of the rainbow to my selection, that I part with an older 'vintage' pair (always donating them to a local charity or disaster relief clothing drive for unfortunate neighbors hit by weather disasters and such). You see, my Dansko's always make me feel good - they fit perfectly with my wardrobe - whether I'm dressing for work or a night out with friends... and they make my feet feel great! Happy feet = Happy girl!
Do I Dansko? Everyday! The most comfortable shoes I own and the only pair I wear for 8 hour+ days at work. I outpaced my husband walking the Vegas strip in my Danskos; while he needed a "rest", I was never ready to sit down.
After several peopele telling me they swear by their Dansko's/ I finally bought a pair about 6 months ago. It was love at first step. I am a dermatology nurse, and when I am assisting in surgery, and I am standing up all day my Dansko's are a blessing. I have tried many nursing shoes in the past, and I officially love Dansko's. I would never buy another brand for nursing.
I'm a teacher and on my feet all day.I noticed doctors and nurses always wore these shoes. I asked a nurse what they were. Now I have 2 pairs. My feet and back don't hurt at the end of the day anymore. I need more!
I Dansko at work in the ICUs and Stepdowns of UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. LOVE THE SUPPORT they provide. Can't wait until I can get my Dansko mary-janish type shoes. Gotta go on a shopping trip! Yeah!
Dansko is my go-to shoe for almost every occasion. I first found Danskos when I was working as a labor and delivery nurse. I'd worn other "nursing shoes" and found that they just didn't give me the support, all day comfortable, and durability I was looking for. I was sold on my Danskos just a few hours into my first shift in them. I have several pairs of the Professionals, and I wear them in my job now as a Family Nurse Practitioner/Certified Nurse-Midwife and in my everyday life as well. Since entering nursing school, I've discovered a whole new definition for 'on my feet all day.' I Dansko the nursing-school-blues away! and my feet and spine and hips love me for it.
I Dansko at work, and then I walk home in the same shoes (a three mile long stroll). It is nice to have both style and comfort in one beautiful package.
I Dansko at work, in the kitchen, in the yard, and at school. I work in a lab and bought my first Danskos with my first professional paycheck. 8-10hr days on a cement floor were killing my 22-year-old back and knees, but I felt the difference immediately. More than 10 years later my job has changed, as has my style, but Danskos still go with me everywhere and keep me feeling great.

I remember when I got my first pair of Dansko's and learned that my legs and feet DIDN'T need to hurt at the end of a long day of standing! Now that I'm a knitter, I love having shoes that show off my hand-knitted socks!

I Dansko every moment of my day from the time I step out of bed to the time I climb back in I always have my Danskos on. I wear a special pair for in the house, boots for dress up, casual ones for play, and my favorite are my Mary Janes... I love them all, and they are the ONLY shoes that give me comfort and walk around pain free, the only ones. I wouldn't be caught dead in anything else.
I wear my Danskos from the minute my feet hit the floor to take care of my three children. I wear my Danskos to be a stylish hair dresser and not feel worn out at the end of the day. I wear my Danskos to go out on a date with my hubby. Need I say more? I think my Danskos rock and I can't wait to see what new styles or fabrics they come out with next!!!
I'm a mom, wife, dog-lover and part time international trademark paralegal who would be LOST with her Danskos. They walk me to work in Boston; they walk walk with me school with me daughter; they stroll with me and my black lab; they keep me dry on wet soccer mornings and warm on cool New England days ... they come apple picking, and out for dinner with friends. I wear my Danskos with grace and comfort, with a healthy side of fashion. They go to court-- I'm a lawyer; they travel well--I am a traveler; they go out-- I am still enjoying life, and they stay home-- where I am a wife and a mother. I love my Danskos.
I Dansko with the kiddos! They were the only shoes my aching pregnant feet could handle when I was pregnant with my first (over 4 years ago - yikes - time for a new pair!) as I had terribly sore feet - numbness and tingling with other shoes. Now they are perfect for keeping up with the kids comfortably everyday!
My Danskos are my go-to traveling shoes. I walk up and down the moving sidewalk at the airport with my toddler, and getting through security is easy when I can just slip them off and throw them on the conveyor belt!
I'm spoiled by Dansko! I Dansko all day, during work and play Dansko is with me, all the way!
No other shoe I own is more comfortable or more versatile than my Danskos. They're by far my favorite shoe for work and my feet are never hurt after a full 8-hour shift in them.
I Dansko all year long! In the summer I rock my Lolita and Naomi sandals and I always get complements. In the fall and winter my favorite little luxury is wearing hand-knit socks with my Dansko clogs. People are always impressed that I make my own socks, but I tell them they should buy a pair of Danskos and then they'd be even more impressed with the comfort and durability of these super shoes! I've even managed to get my boyfriend hooked on Danskos and he wears his clogs all weekend long. Thanks Dansko for making our feet so very, very happy and healthy!
I have been wearing Dansko for over 20 years. I Dansko as a RN in a busy ER, after 12 hour shifts My feet can still carry me home. I Dansko in plaid and shiny leather with jeans and dressup in my Sandalsfo the summer. I do love my Danskos I have 6 pairs.
 

How do I Dansko? They sit in my back room and whenever I slip them on my two mini dachshunds, Oscar and Butch, think it's time for a walk! Sometimes it is, sometimes I have to go to work, and sometimes just out and about but the shoes are wonderful for whatever I need to do and I love them!!! And my little doggies do too! I am a runner and I can tell when I go out for my afternoon run if I've been wearing my Danskos that day or not by how my legs (knees) and lower back feel. They are truly good for you (and your pets)!
I haven't replaced my 4 year old Dansko's yet...I wore them about 2 days a week to work and just about every minute of weekends! Unfortunately, they were too tempting for one of my foster doggies less than 1 year old. I'm guessing it's because they smelled so much like me...and all the other dogs I live with! I have about 3-4 other pairs, but they are more "occasion specific" (for summer, slides, etc). The professional makes a great pair to slip into and go...they make great shoes to walk the dogs, go out with them in the back yard, and to chase down a dog. Even if I step in dog poo - no problem! A quick rinse of the bottom either outside or in (depending on the season) and they are good to go immediately...and my feet NEVER got wet! Man, I miss my professionals. Writing this has made me realize how much!

I started wearing my mom's Danskos at 16. Three years later, I own four pairs and wear one practically every day. I love that they're both casual and dressy at the same time.

I represent my company at trade shows in which I have to stand on a concrete floor 10 hours a day for 3-4 days in a row. With my flat feet, it has been difficult to find shoes that are professional-looking, comfortable and provide the arch support I need. A few years ago, a co-worker introduced me to Dansko clogs. What a huge difference they have made! I can stand all day in them with no discomfort at all. It is always a good day when I get to wear my Danskos.
I "Dansko" all over the place :) My Dansko's have been my shoe of choice for a week in France (yes my feet were quite happy), at my MBA classes sporting all of my handknit socks, and even to my professional job. I like how I can "Dansko" my creative side as well as in my business world. They are truly like my favorite pair of jeans...when trying to decide what shoes to wear with an outfit, I can always grab a pair of my Danskos and be happy with my choice
I Dansko with my little boy, at work, around the neighborhood, and with my handknit socks! It always feels great to Dansko, plus they're so cute and stylish!
I've been wearing Danskos since I started teaching. They are comfortable, stylish, and hardwearing. I think my favorite pair is a pair of red Mary Janes that can be dressed up or down.
I Dansko like many at work as a nurse. I'm a NICU nurse which means 12 hours of standing at a baby's bedside doing procedures and care. Before Dansko my back hated me, not any more. I wish they were a bit more affordable so I could give my feet and back the same amount of love all the time!
I first Dansko'd as a third year medical student. All of my colleagues wore them and I tried them and fell in love with my antique oiled brown professionals. I wore them every night that I was on call as a medical student and resident and many days in between. I wore them so often, I finally wore a hole through the shoe over my big toe! And despite the strange looks and comments, I still couldn't give them up! I finally caved and bought myself a new pair so I could continue to Dansko through my continued medical training.
I am a full-time graduate student who also works part-time at a library. In any given day I have to look professional for work and be comfortable while I commute an hour to Boston. I have successfully chased down buses and subways in my Danskos and they are the only shoes that look and feel great even after long days at work. I'm also a knitter, and no shoes show off handknit socks better than Danskos!
I Dansko every day; after 8 hours on my feet at work I'm not aching when I wear them. They're also the best looking shoes I've ever owned. I love them and I'm well-overdue for a brand, new pair.
I'm a Registered Nurse, I do professional window cleaning, and my Dansko shoes have saved my feet more than once, both indoors and out. I'm literally on my feet all day, carrying equipment, climbing ladders, working hard. At the end of the day, I'm able to change into my dance shoes and teach Argentine tango and dance for several hours more, which I could not do 10 years ago before I was introduced to Dansko Professionals. I have even danced in them occasionally, when I forgot my dance shoes. Thanks for the best friends my 60+year old feet ever had, wish I had known about them years ago.
I wear my Danskos when I know I'll be on a concrete floor all day. They're a little heavy, but are just like wearing a comfy floor just for me. Bliss!

How do I Dansko? I Dansko daily. I'm a stay at home mom that wears one of my (cough) 4 pairs of Danskos every day. (It wouldn't be quite so bad except 2 are red and 2 are black. No imagination.) I used to wear my Danskos every day when I was working until it go too hot. Then I bought a pair of Dansko sandals. You know, the strappy "girl shoes" with the higher heel. But still so comfortable. And I love how tall I am with all my Danskos. I'm sure it makes me look thinner...right?????
Unless there is 3 feet of snow on the ground, or I'm at the beach, I'm always wearing my Dansko clogs. They're very old, and very loved!

I love my Dansko clogs! They are my absolute favorite shoes, hands (feet?) down. I wear them practically anywhere, and I don't ever feel worried that my feet will hurt at the end of the day.

I have worn Danskos for at least 15 years! I have office Danskos and play Danskos. I even have a pair for working in the garden. I wear them at home so I am still taller than my 11-year-old child (for a little while, anyway). I wear them with handknit socks and my feet stay toasty all winter!

I Dansko at work and at home. My feet are definitely happiest when they're in my Danskos. I hesitated to buy my first pair of Danskos because of the price tag, but I'm so glad I did. Plus they are the best shoes for showing off handknit socks!
I wore my Danskos all over London and Paris- super comfy. Now I want a bigger pair to accommodate handknit socks!

DAnce the night away with Danskos
I Dansko almost 24 hours now. I bought my first pair for work. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at a large county jail. I am on a concrete floor all day and my Danskos are the best buy ever. I recently bought the red patent leather ones and I get so many great comments on them. All of the officer joke about my Oz shoes
To me, my Danskos mean value. Sure, there's plenty of cheaper shoes out there, but I certainly haven't found a better pair of shoes. My first pair are still just as comfortable as the day I bought them, which was probably eight years ago now, and they are still the one pair of shoes that go with me on every trip.
I first started Dansko-ing because I have arthritis in my feet and have to stand all day as a vet. I even prefer my old brown professionals to boots when playing with horses and cows! I now have six pairs of gorgeous Danskos (partly because I can't throw out the 10-yr old ones as they are really still in good nick!). It is also nice that I have had compliments on my footwear all the time--especially now with my super-cute dress-up Dansko sandals. Lastly, because of my Danskos, my foot arthritis is progressing much more slowly. Eg elska Dansko!
My employer just moved into a new building with a tile-over-concrete floor, which was killing my feet, legs, and back - until I got Danskos! I started off with the professional clogs and now have several pairs, including Merie, Marcelles, and sandals. They are just awesome!!! My high arches just love them, and I'm no longer in pain at the end of the day. Danskos are an investment - one worth making!
